Pretty cool little place. Service was excellent. The food isn't what I expected and in a good way. We started with the crab cake which had a Cajun twist, and it was good! I loved the flavor of the andouille sausage. We also had cheese curds which my toddler devoured. I got two and with ranch as well as the spicy ranch they came with they were great. I had the shrimp basket and fried and my wife had the mahi sandwich. She won. Both were great but that sandwich was just perfect. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because while the good was good, and the service was stellar. The building is dated, the bath rooms need some work, not gross, but falling apart. Parking was easy, but it was also not busy at all. I could see how during a rush that could be a trouble spot. All in all, I'd go back. Note: they do charge 20% for a service fee, but it's fair for the service we got and we added tip to sit because of how great they treated us. The people here really shine. Even more than the view on the water.

If you're looking for tasty food, great service and waterfront views, then look no further. The Boathouse Landing delivers all three in spades. My wife's fish was cooked perfectly. My seafood linguine was absolutely delicious and truly packed with seafood. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend going. Ask for Zak. He will really take care of you. Very lovely spot! Cozy, coastal decor. Great, large patio overlooking the water. I am glad to have chosen the outdoor seating. September is the perfect time: breezy, not too hot or humid. My waiter Zack was wonderful. Regularly checked up on me, was very quick with my order. The hostess was also very kind. I ordered their house Pinot, the coconut chicken salad, and was given some complimentary hush puppies. I wasn't expecting the hush puppies, but they were pleasant. Dense but flavorful, just like the standard hush puppy. I thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry spread that comes with it. I'm a sucker for sweet & savory foods, and the spread wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. It definitely added something different, and I loved it! The coconut chicken salad was supposed to come with some nuts on it, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The orange vinaigrette was yummy and zesty. Paired pretty well with the chicken. The coconut chicken isn't very sweet. I think this salad is just missing some goat cheese to add some creaminess and balance the citrus from the vinaigrette and mandarin oranges. This was a lovely meal and perfect weather to enjoy it. The views were nice and the restaurant was quiet. An elderly couple sat next to me, and the waiter knew their regular order. From the sounds of it, this spot has some loyal customers. Rightfully so. Would love the opportunity to try their brunch.

Hush Puppies 9/10 Complementary, Really cool they do this, it's different! They were a little bit dense. I did love the strawberry whipped spread, tastes really good with them. Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos 9/10 Really good. The crisp stayed really well with the sauce. Good flavor on the boom boom sauce. Little bit spicy, maybe like medium. Blackened Fish Tacos 2/10 Fish was cooked good. The cucumber wasabi sauce was very overpowering and made the entire taco taste like wasabi, which tastes very much like a watery horseradish. It was not a great flavor at all. Also FYI- it says it right on the menu, smaller print of course, a 20% gratuity is added to ALL checks, not just large parties.
